OK, so on Sunday I (ME!) Have to give a talk in sacrament meeting! I am so totally scared! Help me! Give me some Ideas, or helping thoughts! PLEASE! My topic is on the 9th article of faith, and blessings that have happened to me! So, help me please! Thanks so much if you do help me!

Oh Briana - you lucky girl! I hope you don't get as nervous as I do when I get up there - my voice shakes, and I talk really fast, and it's easy to see just how terrified I am! And if you DO get as nervous as I do, at least you're not alone! You have a silly ol' aunt who can relate! You will do great, though, I just know it. As far as ideas, go to lds.org and type in "ninth article of faith" in the search box and see what comes up. I just typed in "9th article of faith" in a google search engine, and a lot of stuff comes up there, too, so maybe you can find a story or something to read. Maybe you can talk about how blessed we are to still be receiving revelation on the earth today - both personal and as a whole church through the prophet. Good luck, girl! You'll have to let us all know how it goes when you're done and over with it!
Oh, lucky you! Now that you are in YW, you get to give talks in Sacrament Meeting! Now do you miss being able to be in the primary program? :)
Maybe you can give an example of a) all that God has revealed, like the restoration of the church, or a favorite scripture story; b) all that he does now reveal: like current things we hear from the prophet at conference time and in our church magazines; c)and that he will yet reveal many great and imp. things etc., we know that we will receive more things to help us get back to him again; and give a scripture about it..look in the footnotes of the 9th A of F for ideas... Ok, this was really vague, but I know you will do great! Love ya!
