Spring Break! MOAB!!!!!!!

Hooray! we went to Moab on spring break and we had a blast! This post is going to be really long just to warn you! OK, so Moab is a long drive from Burley, it took us about 6 or 7 hours! so in the car this is a few things we do! My mom was playing zooma on her phone, and I took a pic of her but she deleted it! Kaycee never fell a sleep! Kelsie and I did!
On the first night in Moab we stayed at this cute little cabin! It has a queen size bed and a bunk bed, it also had a little fridge and T.V.! It was sooooo little! At the cabins they had a ton of fun stuff to do! They had giant chess and checkers! her is me meeting the king and queen!

We also went swimming at the cabins! The water wasn't heated, but we got used to it fast! then there was a hot tub! There was people in the hot tub, but none got into the cold pool, except us!

Anyway, before we got to Moab we stopped at a few cool places! This was just this really cool rock we saw, so we hiked up to it! It was cool!

this is a berry tree! We always pick the berries and throw them at our mom! It was funny, because when the memmotts joined us (which they haven't yet, but I wish they had!) and my dad taught Emily and Karissa and Gavin what you do with them Emily started calling them mother berries! Then my dad through them at me saying I will be a mother some day. so Emily and kelsie started throwing them at themselves! Saying i will be a mother some day! It was funny!

We also stopped at the wedge overlook! It was scary! there was just a drop off! usually they have a fence, but this overlook didn't, but it was very pretty!

Then we went and saw all these cool Indian writings! They are awesome! One of the writings was called the black dragon, but it was red! It was cool to see! Then we went and saw the dinosaur footprint! It was fun, because you had to move this rock to see it! it was cool! Kaycee was funny because she said "were is the over footprints? Did the dinosaur just stand here and die?!" It was funny, but true. That is what we did the first day!

This was the second day! While we were waiting for the memotts to come we went at saw picture frame arch! We tried to hike up to were we could be under the arch, but it got to steep! Our truck had to go over some big rocks! it was jeeping! :)

Then the Memmotts got here! We had a big picnic and it was fun, then we gave Emily a present because it was her B-day! And we got cupcakes! YUM!

Then we took them to see some different Indian writings! they were cool! and it was fun!

Then we went on a hike to Corona arch and bow tie arch! It was a long hike! it was fun because on parts we had to hold on to ropes on the steep parts! then on one part we climbed up the side of a cliff! Holding on to a rope of course! And we also got to cross a railroad and climb ladders! Then we got to get right under the arch! On the way back Val, Karmen, and I were just following the trail and everyone else was far ahead, but then we couldn't remember this part of the trail, and we had gone the wrong way! Then we started yelling and Kaycee found us and took us the right way! If we hadn't noticed we were lost, then we would have ended up on a huge rock! Scary! End of day 2!

These 2 collages are on the same thing! We hiked up to windows arches and we had to climb all these stairs! It was tiring! Kelsie and Emily said they climbed 200 stairs, it was more than that! The arches were cool though! Then we went to double arch! It had a arch inside a arch! it was way cool! At the end of this hike Kelsie and Emily said they were arch sick!


We still went to another arch though! They liked this one! It was sand dune arch! It all this nice soft sand! Then past the arch there were some rocks we wanted to climb, so Kaycee, Karissa, Brian, Kory, and I climbed! It was way fun and some parts were really hard! But we got way high up! Then my dad had to try to fit in this really skinny part! He shouldn't have done it! He kept getting stuck! And then there is sad news! My camera was in his pocket, and it broke! He crushed it!


Then we really wanted to see Landscape arch because we thought it had fallen down last year! But Kelsie and Emily did not want to hike any more! So they stayed in the car with Val and Gavin watching movies! We got there and on the hike a guy came out on a stretcher! then another guy had half his face bloody! Scary! Anyway when we got there we were like Hey it didn't fall! And it turned out that Wall arch had fallen! oops! So Brian, Kaycee, and Kory wanted to hike a little more to see it! Karissa, Karmen, and me decided to go back so we did thinking they would be back soon! But no they were gone for like an hour and a half!

They had hiked to wall arch, then decided to keep going another mile or so to Double O arch! They said it was one of the coolest arches ever! End of day 3

Then on day 3 the boys went golfing and the girls went shopping, then the boys went "driving" what ever that means and the girls stayed at the hotel to swim and make bracelets! (We went swimming ever day! It was awesome!)


On the last day Kory, Brian, and Kaycee woke up at 6 in the morning to go on this 3 hour hike! They went to delicate arch! They got there when the sun came up, but they were hiking in the dark! Then our trip to Moab was over! How sad!

new beginnings

So for young women's we had new Beginnings! They spotlighted Lydia, Erica, Ally, and me! Almost all the young women had to speak about something. I spoke on the theme and logo! After we got cheesecake! YUM!!! We got pretty pink flowers! Everyone got a necklace with the logo on it, and a book mark! It was a fun experience!

OK, so we were at the Becketts over the weekend! It was soooo much fun with our cousins! While we were there Allie and I dressed Kelsie up at took pics of her! She was sooooo funny posing every which way! Then we got on the computer and played with the pics!

Dance!!!!!!

OK, so we dance at halftime for basketball games! It is really fun and exciting, it is also very scary! So afterwards since I have all this hairspray in my hair, this is how it looks when I take it out! Looks cute right?!
This is Kaycee and me! We had colorful hair strips in our hair, Kaycee's was blue and purple, mine was pink and green! you can't see my colorful hair in the pic! :(

This is my friend Lacey! She is in my dance class! Our costumes are really cool! We also have leg warmers on, but you can't see those either! Anyway it was pretty fun!

balanced rock!

OK, on Monday we also went to Balanced rock! Well, dad, Kaycee. and I went, mom and kelsie stayed in the car! We hiked up, and then we just climbed other rocks and made our own trails. It was fun!

sand dunes!

so, on Monday we went to the Bruneau sand dunes! It was really fun! The dunes were really big! The wind was blowing sooooooo bad. you could see a ton of sand just blowing off the sand dunes! At part of the dunes the wind was so bad that I just dropped down were I was and covered my face! It was scary because all you could here was the wind and screaming! If you tried to move you feel like you were about to be blown away! I would slowly just creep back down to were the wind wasn't so bad. It was funny because if you ran off the sand dune and jumped the wind would carry you a few feet! my dad tried it, and it looked really fun! I was going to try it, and I was all excited about it, then my dad told me what dune to jump off and it went like 38ft straight down! I was not going to jump! so I just ran down instead! There was sand all over after that! It was way fun! (if you want to see the pics better just click on it!)

bracelets!

OK, so for valentines day I gave all my friends these really cute bracelets! They were the best! All my friends LOVED them! I LOVE the polka dots!

Super Bowl!

OK, so it I really don't watch the super bowl, but it is fun to have the party and the food! The only part of the super bowl I watched was when some guy fell and it looked like he hit his head really hard, but apparently he was OK! I also saw the part when some guy looked like he was doing ballet! any way, that is like all I saw!

OK, so the first pic is of me eating ice cream! Ice cream is the best ever!

This is when the 3D commercial came on! That was like the only part I wanted to see! I wasn't very good, but I don't care that much!

Look how good this caramel popcorn looks! It was driving me crazy! I couldn't eat it because of my braces! I wanted to eat it soooo bad!

Here I am drinking soda! You can not have a Super Bowl party without soda! (or popcorn, but I had to figure that out the hard way! JK) So our party was fun!

Anyway, this is pretty random! Before church on Sunday, I didn't really have anything else to do, so I painted my nails this really bright purple, and put silver sparkles on them! I don't know if you can tell, but it really stands out! It looks cool!
